2026-2027 Automation, Energy, and Advanced Technologies Referral Waiver
Eligibility Requirements:
Student enrolled in an AEAT program must refer a new student to enroll in an academic program within the Automation, Energy, and Advanced Technologies (AEAT) Division. The referred students must:
- Apply and be accepted for admission to BSC.
- Student must be degree-seeking at BSC.
- Student must be registered for a minimum of 24 credits including Fall 26 and Spring 27.
- Student must stay enrolled full-time. If the referred student drops below full-time, you’ll lose the waiver.
- Must be admitted into the program after January 1, 2026.
- United States citizen or permanent resident
- Submit waiver application before August 7, 2026 – Fall 2026 and January 8, 2027 – Spring 2027
- Student must be registered for a minimum of 6 credits.
- Maximum of $500 (full-time 12+ credits) or $250 (part-time, taking 6 to 11 credits) awarded per semester for each semester of the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 session.
- The waiver applies to tuition only. Tuition waivers do not include mandatory fees, class fees, books, board, room, insurance, taxes, or any other costs.
- Waiver applications do not guarantee a waiver, and available waiver amounts are limited. Therefore, applications will be reviewed along with all eligibility requirements and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis for students who meet the waiver criteria.
- Students requesting a second-term qualification for the waiver must have a 2.0 GPA or higher from their first term.
- If a student drops below their initial full-time or part-time status per the waiver guidelines in their first semester of the waiver, they are ineligible to receive the waiver the second semester.
